2. Restrain the calf correctly and insert the tube carefully using proper technique.

Item Description
This drencher attachment is designed to fit the Speedy Feeder bottle and is used when a weak calf needs help getting its first feed of colostrum. In situations where the calf is slow to suck or too weak to feed normally, a drencher can be an important part of the calf care kit. The tube is designed for easier insertion into the oesophagus when used correctly by a competent operator. On dairy and suckler farms, having a drencher ready in the calving area can make a big difference in getting colostrum into a calf at the right time. Use carefully and clean thoroughly after every use.
