Item Description
Magniject 400ml is a veterinary-grade magnesium sulphate solution for injection indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypomagnesaemia (grass tetany) in cattle and sheep. Hypomagnesaemia can occur when magnesium levels in the blood fall too often during periods of lush, rapidly growing grass in spring or around parturition leading to tetany, muscle tremors, and metabolic instability. Magniject delivers a 25% w/v solution of magnesium sulphate heptahydrate that rapidly corrects magnesium deficiency when administered properly via subcutaneous injection only. The clear, ready-to-use formulation should be warmed to body temperature prior to use.
