Stockholm Tar is a traditional pine tar dressing used around livestock for protecting exposed tissue and helping shield damaged areas from wet and dirt. It is commonly used on minor cuts, scratches and bites, and is also used as a dressing after dehorning or on hoof conditions where a protective coating is useful.For Irish farms dealing with wet underfoot conditions, a tar dressing can help protect the treatment area while it settles. The 2.5kg pack is suited to farms that use tar regularly for hoof or skin care. Apply externally only to the affected area and keep containers sealed when not in use.
