Application Instructions
1. Prepare the seedbed: Remove old vegetation, weeds and debris. Ensure a firm, fine seedbed for good soil contact.
2. Sow at the correct rate: Evenly apply the entire 14 kg bag over 1 acre (approximately 35 g/m²).
3. Incorporate seed: Lightly harrow or roll to ensure good contact between seed and soil.
4. Firm & water: Roll the surface to firm soil around the seed, and ensure moisture is maintained where possible to aid germination.
5. Aftercare: Graze lightly once seedlings are established; avoid heavy grazing until sward is fully developed. Best sowing times: Spring/Early summer — for quick establishment. Late summer/Autumn — for cool, moist germination conditions.

Designed for cool-season grassland environments like Ireland’s, this mix provides excellent palatability and digestibility while maintaining persistence under rotational grazing. The inclusion of clover also contributes biological nitrogen fixation, decreasing synthetic fertiliser dependence and supporting soil health.
